A quick word from Karina
We’re back. After a longer than expected break for summer. Thanks for being patient with me taking a little longer between podcasts, as I had a much busier summer than I had originally planned, full of work, weddings and an actual week away, to Iceland. I can confirm the rumours are true, I did cry when I say the Northern Lights for the first time.
Now onto the show
I am glad to finally present episode three of Good Digital to you. To make up for the extend break I am giving you a special treat. A three-part special, that came out of the day I spent with the team at JustGiving.com, earlier in the summer, that I will release in weekly installments.
I had a great day chatting with the team at JustGiving about how they use the digital to enable positive change, how to establish a digital mission driven organisation, and how their new tools will continue to push how we can make positive impact, as well as lots of other things ideas and tips about using digital to make a difference. Also JustGiving have a great blog where their teams often expand on what they are working on or discover. Make sure that you check it out.
First up on the JustGiving comfy sofa is Jamie Parkins
Jamie and talked to about the origins of JustGiving and how it has developed its take on the peer-to-peer fundraising model, as well as other giving options. We also touched on how important transparency and storytelling is incredibly important to connect, engage and develop trust in your organisation with the general public.
