Digital technologies have given us lots of different ways to make positive change happen, but people working, volunteering, donating and taking action to make a difference, can only succeed if we work together.
Which is why I started Good Digital, a podcast about how people, organisations and community groups are using digital to make change happen.
Each episode we will talk to someone with in-depth knowledge about a specialist subject, look at what has been in the news about the issues many of us are passionate about and profile the organisations who are making a difference, look at developments in digital communications and technology we need to be aware of and finally provide advice and support to those some tricky problems our listeners might be facing.
The GoodDigital podcast sees itself as part of the community of changemakers and hopes to strengthen that community with great insights, ideas, support and sometimes laughter.
Currently GoodDigital is produced and presented by Karina Brisby, who has worked in the social justice and charity sector for 20 years, in Australia, the United Kingdom and the United Sates of America, and collaborate with amazing activists from around the world.
We hope to expand the production & presenting team very soon. The team is based in London, but will be covering issues affecting the social justice community around the world. If you would like to be a regional correspondent for Good Digital, let us know.
